1¾ cups all-purpose flour
1 tablespoon baking powder
1 teaspoon salt
1 tablespoon sugar
2 large eggs
1½ cups whole milk
6 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted

Stir together flour baking powder, salt, and sugar.  In a separate bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk and melted butter.  Mix the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients all at once with a wooden spoon, until just combined.  For each waffle pour ½ to 1 cup of the batter on the waffle iron and bake as directed by the manufacturer.
